Description
Red-D-Arc offers fully automated TIG cladding welding machines for horizontal pipe-cladding applications. Complete turnkey packages include a wire-feed unit as well as a standard touch-programmable, cold-wire pulsed-TIG welding power source with an optional hot-wire system available for applications where higher deposition rates are required.

Additional Features
The horizontal pipe-cladding system includes a hollow-bore headstock with a clamping device and adjustable-height support idlers to clamp and support the pipe. The system can accommodate pipe diameters ranging from 6" to 24" (150 mm to 600 mm) up to 40' (12 m) in length. A motorized tractor unit is provided to handle the welding spools with up to 4 welding wires for Inconel and special metals on 2 welding heads for increased production.
All our TIG pipe cladding systems are controlled by a KEY 1250 fully-integrated touch-screen PC controller. All machine functions are controlled via the PC or hand-held remote pendant and functions can be either pre-set or adjusted during the welding cycle. The system provides display values, alarms and system parameters through the live-welder display and editor functions to automatically, clad multiple and cross bore options.
